Grand Cable's 5th Factory Put into Operation

We are pleased to announce that Grand Cable's fifth factory has officially commenced operations today.

After several years of preparation and careful consideration, we have chosen to locate our fifth factory in Huiguo Town, Gongyi City, Henan Province, based on the optimal supply chain solution. This geographical location enables us to access the necessary raw materials, including pole materials, auxiliary materials, and packaging, at the most cost-effective rates. Additionally, it facilitates efficient maritime logistics via Tianjin Port, Qingdao Port, and Shanghai Port, as well as railway logistics solutions to Central Asia and Mongolia.

Since the 1990s, the cable industry in Gongyi City, especially in Huiguo Town, has achieved remarkable development. At that time, seizing the huge demand for rural power grid transformation, the wire and cable industry rapidly emerged in the local area, with the product scale growing and the product quality continuously improving. At its peak, there were up to 2,000 private enterprises engaged in cable production and auxiliary material processing in Huiguo Town, accounting for 70% of the town's total industrial output value, making it the largest industry in the town.

After nearly 30 years of development, the cable industry in Gongyi City has made significant progress under the continuous supervision and support of market regulators at the provincial, municipal, and county levels. Currently, the quality level of wire and cable products in Gongyi City has been greatly improved, with a batch of excellent manufacturing enterprises that prioritize quality and credibility emerging. These enterprises enjoy a certain reputation in both domestic and international markets, and their products are widely used in various fields such as power, transportation, and communication.

According to statistics, the wire and cable industry in Gongyi City achieved sales revenue of nearly 6 billion yuan, with nearly 20 enterprises having main business income exceeding 100 million yuan. This indicates that the cable industry in Gongyi City has already possessed a certain scale and strength, becoming an important component of the local economy.

In addition, the cable industry in Gongyi City has also received support from industry associations and experts. For example, experts such as He Mingzhi, the President of Henan Electric Wire and Cable Association, have held expert exchange meetings on high-quality development of the wire and cable industry in Gongyi City, sharing the development history of the industry, interpreting marketing orientations, and promoting the three development drivers of the cable industry. This has provided valuable guidance and suggestions for the development of the cable industry in Gongyi City.

During its development process, the cable industry in Gongyi City has formed significant industrial, geographical, and talent advantages. Firstly, the cable industry in Gongyi City started early, with a complete industrial chain and the formation of an industrial cluster, making significant contributions to the economic development of the city. Secondly, Gongyi City enjoys a favorable geographical location and convenient transportation, which is conducive to the procurement of raw materials and the sales of products. Finally, the cable industry in Gongyi City boasts a team of high-quality talents who possess rich experience and capabilities in technology research and development, production management, and marketing, providing strong talent support for the development of the cable industry.

After nearly 30 years of development, the cable industry in Gongyi City has achieved remarkable achievements. In the future, with the continuous progress of technology and the expansion of the market, the cable industry in Gongyi City is expected to maintain a rapid development momentum and make greater contributions to the prosperity of the local economy.

The service offerings of this fifth factory will include the mass production and supply of cables and conductors for AC 400V~35KV distribution network lines, AC 60KV~1150KV power grid lines, and DC ±800KV power grid lines, both domestically and internationally. We will also provide corresponding inspection and acceptance services.

Currently, all production equipment in the fifth factory has been installed, and trial production of the largest cross-section conductor with a size of 2500mm2 is ongoing. The corresponding testing equipment is also being installed and commissioned.

The management team represented by Mr. Yang, the overseas business team led by Mr. Ringo, and the production technology team headed by Mr. Li, all attended the commissioning ceremony. We firmly believe that the commissioning of this factory will significantly enhance Grand Cable's supply and contract fulfillment capabilities.
